To preserve and enhance the rights and experiences of present hunters and future generations by directly participating in local and regional Conservation, Education, and Humanitarian enterprises through our memberships philanthropic efforts and/or directly funding a members nominated cause or venture.
CONSERVATION - The Central Minnesota SCI chapter like the national chapter views conservation as an essential component of the hunter’s responsibility.
Locally we focus on conservation in two different ways. We have fundraising at our events and in the annual banquet. We help raise money for various conservation projects in the local area. We also help conservation efforts by donating time and manpower. In the past the CMnSCI chapter has built a disabled hunters blind to be donated to the Minnesota DNR.
EDUCATION - The Central Minnesota chapter of SCI is dedicated to helping promote education for our local community.
For the past few years the CMnSCI chapter has given out six $1000 scholarships for students graduating from area schools. These students are selected for their understanding of our chapter’s values, and their ability to apply our mission to their future endeavors.

HUMANITARIAN - Our third area of outreach established in our mission is humanitarian efforts for our local community.
For the past 2 years we have gone on a fishing and outdoor excursion with kids from the Central Minnesota Boys and Girls club. It has been a very positive event in the past years as most of the kids are getting introduced to the fun sport of fishing.
Similarly in 2015 we donated a velociraptor foam archery target to the Broken Wings organization. Throughout the years their old target was worn and well used. Broken Wings hosts an annual event for disabled hunters. The Velociraptor target was well received and will be a useful addition for years to come.
